Christmas Wrap-up!
During Christmas break, 1989, a 7-year-old me was spending hours on end playing Super Mario Brothers.
20 years later…
During Christmas break, 2009, a 27-year-old me is spending hours on end– playing Super Mario Brothers. Heh. Some things never change!

Hey, Holly! As my grandpa used to tell me, “You’ve been drinkin’ muddy water!” (that means “move it, you’re blocking the TV!”)
It hasn’t been all video games and unimpressed dogs around here. We had our very own Spiderman appearance at Christmas Eve:

Believe it or not, I am pretty bad about remembering to pull out my camera at my own family functions. My mom reminded me to bring my camera to Christmas Eve this year, so at least I got a few snaps in. I love this one of her and my grandma. And lo! my brother’s beard has returned!

For the first time in a long time, we all sat down for a family group photo. I just wish all of my cousins could have been in it. I hope your family’s Christmas was as wonderful as ours! Happy New Year!

Update! I have been scanning in loads of photos for a family project and look what I found! I’m pretty sure this is either Christmas of 1999 or 2000. What a difference 10 years makes! This photo makes me miss my grandfather, but we still have a wonderful family. And look, there’s some of the missing cousins!

Hey! great photos…loooove the Super Mario part!! How awesome is it that our childhood is back?? :D
Is that a template storyboard thing you used? Looks neat!
Oh, did you design your blog layout yourself or is it from a template site? I have my blog with a crappy layout and I want to get one like this and make my own banner. I really like yours…simple yet purrdy!
Thanks! It’s not a template or anything, I just did it in Photoshop.
The blog layout is a modified version of a freebie I found…somewhere. I can’t remember where exactly! That is the easiest thing to do I think, find something with the layout you like and then just modify…
